PPA was initially established in Chennai; however, currently PPA is a PAN India Brand.
Founder Profile
Mr CS Pavan Kumar, is the founder of Phani Pavan & Associates (PPA) ,is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), He Also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade and Foreign Exchange and a Bachelor’s Degree in E-Commerce.
He is also a Visiting Faculty at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India handling topics relating to Company law and setting up of Business.
His Practice areas include Company formation, Secretarial services, Secretarial audit, Company Law, FEMA, LODR compliance and Drafting Opinions.
He is also a registered Trademark Attorney.
He is an empaneled consultant for a body promoted by, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare and working closely with producer Companies across India. He is also an adjunct faculty at a National level Agriculture Institute. He is a resource person for bodies like NABARD and few private institutions.
He is also a consultant for few state governments in formulating policy for Producer Companies. He has also authored few books and training modules on Producer Companies.
CS Harsha J
Co-Founder
CS Harsha J is a qualified Company Secretary and a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, with a strong academic foundation in Business Administration from Women’s Christian College.
With a diverse professional background, she brings rich experience across multiple sectors including power, infrastructure, construction, and public sector undertakings in Tamil Nadu.
Prior to entering practice, she has held key roles in employment where she has been actively involved in handling end-to-end secretarial and regulatory functions.
Her professional exposure spans across:
• Compliance under the Companies Act, 2013 and allied laws
• SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations (LODR) compliance
• Representation before tribunals and regulatory authorities
• Acting as an investigation officer in dispute resolution matters
• Managing complex corporate and secretarial assignments
Her hands-on experience in both corporate and regulatory environments enables her to bring a practical, solution-oriented approach to client engagements. She is known for her ability to handle diverse assignments with clarity, diligence, and a strong understanding of governance frameworks.
